U.S. 27 in Nicholasville back open after crash

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- U.S. 27 at Bethel Road in Jessamine County reopened Monday night after a stretch was closed following an accident.

An accident reconstruction unit was called to the scene.

A detour was put into place that allowed drivers onto Bethel Road, taking a right onto Danville Loop 1 Road then back out on US 127.

The road was closed for around an hour.  It reopened around 8:15 p.m.

Details of the crash weren’t immediately available.
