UPDATE: Woman Dies Week After Being Hit On Winchester Road
After being hit by a vehicle on Winchester Road January 3rd, the Fayette coroner said a woman died Monday.
She identified as 57-year-old Susan Buckman. Buckman was hit by a driver on Winchester Road and taken to UK. Officers said Buckman was crossing Winchester Road near a gas station.
Officers said the driver didn’t see Buckman as they came over a hill.
The death is under investigation, according to the coroner.
