UPDATE: Woman Dies After Woodford County Crash

The coroner told ABC 36 News the woman involved in Friday’s crash on I-64 in Woodford County has died. She’s been identified as 27-year-old Emily Rhoads Kapp of Lexington.

The coroner said Kapp was stopped in traffic for construction Friday when she was rear-ended by a pick-up truck that did not notice traffic was stopped.

The coroner said Kapp died of blunt force trauma to the head after being flown to UK.
