UPDATE: Victims identified in deadly crash on Mountain Parkway

STANTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The victims of a violent crash on the Mountain Parkway in Powell County on Sunday have been identified.

State Police say 18-year old Melissa Haddix, of Winchester, was traveling westbound on the parkway around 6:30 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, over-corrected and crashed. The vehicle came to rest on its top.

Haddix and a passenger, 20-year old Rayna Cross, of Winchester, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to KSP.

Another passenger, 22-year old Mary Ripy, of Winchester, was airlifted to UK Hospital where she was listed in stable condition, according to investigators.

Two other passengers, 23-year old Hakeem Floyd, of Winchester, and 18-year old Steven Fraley, of Winchester, were treated and released from Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, according to State Police.
