UPDATE: Victim ID’ed in Grant County death

WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – An autopsy was performed Thursday in Frankfort, to identify the deceased man located Wednesday evening in Williamstown. The  man was identified as 30-year-old Daniel Stewart, of Florence, Ky.

No additional information is available for release; the investigation is ongoing.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- Kentucky State Police is investigating after a man was found dead in Grant County.

KSP says it was notified Wednesday after 5:00 P.M. of a deceased male located in a wooded area near the 900 block of Lincoln Ridge Road in Williamstown. Investigators say a landowner discovered the body near a creek after traveling the property by ATV.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday in Frankfort to identify the man.

KSP Detectives are actively working to figure out how he died, but there is no indication of foul play.
