UPDATE: Valley View Ferry operating on regular schedule

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Valley View Ferry resumed normal operations on Wednesday after being closed the day before due to high water conditions on the Kentucky River.

The paddlewheel ferry shuttles vehicles across the river between Madison and Jessamine counties.

It has been in operation since 1785.
