Update: UK Student Takes Plea Deal In Harassment Case
There’s an update in the case of a UK student accused of terroristic threatening.
The Lexington Herald Leader reports that Steven Kennedy has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of harassment.
The case stems from last July when police say Kennedy sent a picture of ‘The Joker’ from Batman to a University Vice President.
The joker email came after the Aurora, Colorado theater shootings.
Police said Kennedy wasn’t happy with the way Vice President Terry Allen handled a sexual harassment complaint.
Kennedy denied it was a threat.
Now the Herald-Leader reports Kennedy was ordered to pay fees and fines totaling $254.
