UPDATE: Suspect in fatal stabbing was RN in Indiana
VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – The suspect in a stabbing in Versailles that killed a 6-year old boy was a registered nurse in Indiana.
According to the Indiana Nurse Licensing Board, Ronald Exantus received his license in July of 2013, and renewed it most recently in August of 2015.
The board also says that Exantus has had no complaints registered against him.
Exantus was arrested early Monday morning, after police say he was found in a house on Douglas Avenue in Versailles. Officers say Exantus stabbed 6-year-old Logan Tipton several times in the head, killing the boy.
A vigil for the victim is being held tonight at at 6:30 p.m. on the turf football field located at the Falling Springs Park and Recreation Center, 275 Beasley Rd, in Versailles.
