Update: Shooting Victim Dies
The victim in Sunday’s shooting in Lexington has died.
The incident happened at a home on Cashel Court around 6:30 p.m.
Police said a 17-year-old had been shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later died.
Just a few hours later, police arrested Eric Trigg, 18, and charged him with reckless homicide.
According to court documents, Trigg shot his brother with a handgun.
Trigg will be arraigned in court on Monday.
Police have not released a name for the Cashel Court victim.
