UPDATE: Second arrest made in Laurel County dog death

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Another teenager is arrested after a dog is found beaten and stabbed in Laurel County.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Toby Glen Harrison was taken into custody on Thursday.

According to the sheriff, Harrison was involved in the death of the dog that was seen on video being punched in the face by another teenager.

The dog later died after it was discovered beaten and suffering from several stab wounds.

Deputies say Harrison stabbed the animal.

They don’t believe Harrison helped shoot the video that has been widely circulated on social media, but are not sure if he was present when the video was made.

Harrison, like the teenager, is charged with animal cruelty and torture. Harrison is also charged with unlawful transaction with a minor.

Deputies say more arrests in the case are expected.

Video surfaced on social media of a stray dog being punched in the face. That dog was later found dead.
