Update: Road Still Yellow After Paint Spill
University Drive in Lexington could be yellow for the next few days.
A hose came loose on a paint truck yesterday and sprayed part of University Drive with yellow paint.
Lexington’s Streets and Roads Department said they are considering two options to remove the paint: paint the road black or re-do a layer of blacktop.
They said the road is not likely to be fixed before next week.
