UPDATE: Remains Found In Rowan Co. Identified As Missing Man
State Police said that human remains found earlier this month in Rowan County have been identified.
Troopers said that they received positive identification Friday that the remains belong to Thomas Ray James.
James was from Grosse Point Park in Michigan and was 50-years-old when he was reported missing in 2004, according to investigators.
State Police said that several weeks after James was reported missing, his vehicle was found at a rest area in Rowan County.
Troopers said that they were not able to find James, despite an extensive search.
Foul play is not suspected in the death, according to State Police.
