UPDATE: Remains found along Kentucky River not human

WILMORE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Jessamine Co. Coroner says that remains found yesterday in the Kentucky River are not of human origin.

The coroner did not give an indication of what the remains might be, only that they are not human.

The remains were reportedly found by people fishing Wednesday afternoon on the banks of the river in the Highbridge area of Wilmore.
