UPDATE: Pregnant Woman Rescued From Fire That Investigators Call Suspicious
The Nicholasville Fire Department said a pregnant woman was rescued from a fire that investigators called "suspicious."
The fire broke out late Thursday afternoon in a building that includes a log cabin that is more than 100-years old at the corner of First and Walnut in Nicholasville, according to investigators.
Firefighters said when they arrived on the scene, the entire first floor was engulfed in flames.
Five units from the Lexington Fire Department were called-in to help fight the fire. Firefighters from the Jessamine County Fire Department and Wilmore Fire Department also battled the fire.
Firefighters said no one was injured.
The cause remained under investigation.
