Update: Police Say Synthetic Drug Materials Found Beneath House

Police say materials used to make synthetic drugs were found in a crawl space under a Lexington home.

Firefighters were also called to the scene Wednesday afternoon on Tulane Drive near Tates Creek and Nicholasville Road.

Investigators say maintenance workers found the materials in a crawl space under the house.

Police tell ABC 36 the materials are used to make DMT.

They are similar to bath salts and are just as dangerous as those used to make meth.
