UPDATE: Police say pedestrian wasn’t in crosswalk when hit

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say there was not a crosswalk in the area where a pedestrian was hit by a car. Officers say the accident happened Monday night on Tates Creek Road near Armstrong Mill.

Police say the pedestrian was taken to U.K. Hospital. Meanwhile, officers shut down part of Tates Creek as they investigated the crash. They say they do not think weather was a factor in the case.
