Update: Police Said Man Not In Crosswalk When Hit
A man who was hit while walking across a Lexington street was not in the crosswalk when he was struck, according to police.
Lexington police said the man was hit while going across South Broadway at around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.
The victims was rushed to the University of Kentucky hospital with what police said are life-threatening injuries.
The Crash Reconstruction Unit was called in to investigate the accident.
Police tell ABC 36 they do not expect charges to be filed against the driver.
