UPDATE: Police name suspect in Danville shootings

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police in Danville have identified a man they think shot two others at "The Den", early Saturday morning.

They have named Darwin D. Cloyd of Danville and Lexington as the suspect in the case. They say Cloyd faces charges for assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Cloyd is considered armed and dangerous.

Police in Boyle County are investigating after two people were shot early Saturday morning.

It happened at "The Den" on Dillehay Street in Danville. Officers say 28-year-old Juaqua Beasley was found in the parking lot while 27-year-old Brandon Lofton showed up at an area hospital. Both are from Danville.

Both had multiple gunshot wounds and were taken to UK for injuries described by police as serious. The accident is still under investigation. Danville Police ask for your assistance if you have any information.
