UPDATE: Police Arrest Suspect After Pharmacy Robbery

Lexington police say a pharmacy robbery suspect is now in custody.

Police say a man robbed the C&C Pharmacy, on Mapleleaf Drive in Lexington, Wednesday afternoon.

Police say he demanded pills — not money — and used a knife to threaten a customer. That customer wasn’t hurt. Police say the man left with a bottle of pills.

State police arrested 44-year-old Gerald Harrod in Versailles Thursday. He’s now charged with possession of a controlled substance.
