UPDATE: Petition seeks justice for dog dragged to death in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- An online petition to the Fayette County court system asks for the two men accused in a dog’s death to receive the maximum punishment, if they’re found guilty.

Vincent O’Bryan and Jesse Durham are accused of actions, leading to the death of Bella, a dog who was reportedly dragged to death in Lexington after being tied to the bumper of a car. Police say O’Bryan was driving. Investigators say O’Bryan claimed he was "almost positive" that he wasn’t dragging a dog.

O’Bryan told ABC 36 News off-camera in July that it was an accident, and that he had forgotten he tied Bella to the car in order to keep her away from another dog.
