UPDATE: One dead after collision in West Liberty
WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say one man has died after an accident on KY 519 Tuesday morning.
Officers say they received the call about the accident around 7:45 a.m. They say the accident happened near Pleasant Run Road in Morgan Co. when a car headed northbound crossed into the southbound lane and hit another vehicle. Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles, and one caught on fire, according to officers.
Both drivers were airlifted to hospitals for medical treatment. One of them, 37-year-old Toby Hunley was pronounced dead at Saint Claire Medical Center, according to police. The other driver was taken to Cabell/Huntington Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Police are still investigating what caused the collision.

WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – West Liberty Police say an accident on HWY 519 at Pleasant Run Road has sent two people to the hospital.
Officers say it happened around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday morning when two cars collided. One person from each vehicle was taken to the hospital. No word on the condition of the victims at this time.
Officials say the road will be closed for some time. The investigation into the accident is continuing, and we will release additional details as they become available.
