UPDATE: Officer Hurt in I-75 Semi Collision Released From Hospital
An officer who was injured after a semi slammed into his cruiser on I-75 is now out of the hospital.
Police said Benjamin Fielder was helping a stranded driver Friday night when a tractor trailer crashed into his patrol car, as well as the other driver’s vehicle.
The truck overturned, spilling sodium hydro sulfide onto part of the roadway.
