UPDATE: Missing Man Found Dead in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a Golden Alert case is now a death investigation.

Deputies say 45-year-old Rodney Carter was found dead Wednesday night near his home on Poplar Hollow Road, ten miles south of London. The sheriff’s office had issued a Golden Alert for Carter. They say he had not been seen since Monday morning.

Investigators say an autopsy will be done to figure out how Carter died.
