Police said Saylor’s daughter, who he does have custody of, was with them.

Investigators said the boy, Stevie Saylor III, was dropped of Tuesday afternoon at his grandmother’s house.  She turned him over to authorities, who returned him to his mother Tuesday evening.

Police began looking for the trio on Monday afternoon in the Scaffold Cane Road area in Berea.

Investigators said all along that they never felt either child was in danger.  They stopped short of calling it a kidnapping.
