LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Fayette County Grand Jury indicted a Lexington man this week on multiple charges in connection with a deadly September shooting, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Citing court records, the report says 21-year-old Jeremy J. Jackson was indicted on one count of murder and one count of tampering with physical evidence.
Lexington Police say Jackson is accused of shooting and killing 51-year-old Carroll Martin outside a home on Florence Avenue in September and running off. He was arrested September 26 on Rogers Road in Lexington, according to court records.
The report says Jackson was identified as a suspect through witness statements, a photo lineup, neighborhood resource officers and other “police intelligence resources,” according to his arrest warrant.
