Update: Man Arrested In Connection To Body Found Near Dumpster

Lexington police charged Chico Duwan Rucker, 28, with murder.

Cops said it was a woman’s body, found in a plastic bag near a dumpster on Marietta drive Sunday evening.

Officers said tenants in an apartment building complained about an odor, so the manager started looking around.

He found the body in the bag. Police think the body had been there two to three weeks.

As of this writing, an autopsy is underway. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
