UPDATE: Man arrested after late-night shooting on Given Avenue in Lexington

UPDATE:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — One person has been arrested following a shooting late Sunday night in Lexington that left a man hospitalized.

According to police, officers were sent to a residence in the 300 block of Given Avenue around 11:45 p.m. Sunday for disorder report. When they arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested 31-year-old Carcellius Favron at the scene. He is charged with Assault 1st Degree and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, along with other unrelated warrants.

Favron is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
