UPDATE: Lexington Police say woman’s claim of assault “unfounded”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a woman’s claim that two men she didn’t know broke-in to her home in the 3400 block of Pimlico Parkway on Wednesday, held her against her will and assaulted her, was "unfounded."

A news release from Lexington Police says after a thorough investigation, detectives found the woman’s claims to be untruthful.  Police say the woman was not charged criminally for filing a false complaint.
