UPDATE: Lexington homicide victim identified

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman found dead at a home Monday morning in Lexington.

The coroner says she is 33-year-old Elaine Castillo.

The Lexington Police Department says Castillo’s body was discovered at the home on the 2200-block of Alexandria Drive around 10 a.m.

Police say her death is being investigated as a homicide. The coroner says the cause of Castillo’s death is known, but is not being released at this time.
