UPDATE: Judge orders murder-for-hire suspects to stay in jail until trial

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A judge has ordered the three men to stay in jail until trial.
According to the Herald Leader, U.S. Magistrate Judge Matthew Stinnet says there’s too great a risk Mahmoud Shaker Shalash would flee to avoid prosecution and because of potential danger to the person their accused of wanting to kill.
The judge also says John Sadiquillah and Abdul Hadi would continue their detention.
The men can appeal the detention order.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three men including a Islamic religious leader in Lexington have been arrested and charged in a murder-for-hire plot.
According to the herald leader, the Islamic Center of Lexington Leader Mahmoud Shaker Shalash, John Sadiqullah, and Abdul Hadi, are charged with conspiring to hire a hit-man to kill someone.
The three men were unaware the person they were working with was secretly recording conversations and meetings while working with the federal government.
All three men are currently in the Woodford County Detention Center.
