Update: Inmate who didn’t return to jail arrested

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say a man is back behind bars after failing to return from a doctor’s appointment.

James Gregory was let out on a medical pass Tuesday and never returned. 

Court documents say Gregory was arrested just after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was in jail on burglary charges.

He is also charged with escape.
