UPDATE: Police continue search for suspects in Hibbett Sports robberies

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say they are continuing their search for two men wanted in armed robberies at two different Hibbett Sports stores, and whom are also connected to a home invasion.

As we reported, police were looking for Deverious D. Jones after the September 8 robbery at Hibbett Sports on Winchester Road.

Investigators announced last Wednesday that Jones was one of three armed men who held up Hibbett Sports on Richmond Road on September 13.

In the second robbery, police say the suspects forced employees and customers into a back room of the store and stole merchandise and cash from the register.

Investigators also accuse Jones in a September 7 home invasion on Lucille Drive. Police say three armed men forced their way into a home and left with the victim’s car, money and some marijuana.

Detectives say 23-year-old Tahjee K. Winters is also wanted in the home invasion.
