UPDATE: Golden Alert canceled in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- U.K. police say a Golden Alert has been canceled. Police were looking for Salvador Ortiz after he reportedly walked away from a university clinic Friday afternoon.

U.K. Police Chief Joe Monroe used Twitter to thank the ‘vigilant citizen’ who called in the sighting of Ortiz off Man O War near Easthills Dr. Police say Ortiz was found safe and would be reunited with his family.
