UPDATE: Decomposed body identified in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A decomposed body found in London October 10, has been identified.

The Laurel County coroner identified the man as 58-year old Mark Wagers, of Corbin.  The coroner says Wagers’ cause of death still hasn’t been determined, but he does not suspect foul play.

Wagers’ body was found in a wooded area by a pastor who was mowing church property near 11th Street and Mill Street in London.

The coroner hopes autopsy results will determine a cause and manner of death and how long Wagers’ body had been in the woods.
