LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say someone found a man in a Penske truck on Alexandria Drive Tuesday afternoon.

The coroner says that man had been shot to death. He called the case a homicide.

He was identified as 33-year old Barry Slaven of Harrodsburg.

An autopsy is planned for Wednesday. In the meantime, a GoFundMe page was set-up online to raise money to pay for Slaven’s funeral expenses. In its first four-hours, nearly $3,000 had been raised, according to figures on the GoFundMe page.

Information online says Slaven was the father of two young children, a Veteran and had been missing since Sunday. That information was not released by Lexington Police or the Fayette County Coroner.
