Update: Charges Dropped Against Man Who Climbed Tree During VP Debate
A man who climbed a tree during the Vice Presidential debate and shouted anti-abortion slogans will not face disorderly conduct charges.
That’s according the the Advocate-Messenger.
Rives Grogan was arrested in Danville last Thursday.
The Advocate-Messenger says the disorderly conduct charge has been dropped.
But Grogan told the newspaper he plans to have an anti-abortion rally Saturday in front of the Boyle County Courthouse.
He says he’s a Minister and he’s been arrested about 30 times for protesting gay marriage and abortion.
Grogan also says he says he was arrested for running across the field during a Cincinnati Reds game, just a few days before the debate.
