UPDATE: Campbellsville Power Line Met Safety Standards
The Kentucky Public Service Commission said there was not anything wrong with the power line that shocked four Campbellsville firefighters during an ice bucket challenge.
It had been just one part of the investigation into the August 21st accident that ultimately led to the death of a fire captain.
The state said the power line was up to code and was built, maintained and operated safely.
Two firefighters were badly burned when a bucket ladder came close to it.
One of the victims, Campbellsville Fire Captain Tony Grider, later died from his injuries.
