Update: Body Found On Lindsey Wilson College Campus Identified As Student

The Adair County Coroner identified a badly decomposed body found on the Lindsey Wilson College campus as student Jamison Stephens, 24, of Russell County.

The coroner said there were no physical findings, so nothing visibly suspicious about Stephens’ death.

The coroner hopes toxicology tests will help determine the cause and manner of death.  The results of the tests are expected to take 4-6 weeks.

A grounds keeper at Lindsey Wilson founds Stephens’ body in the backseat of a pickup truck Tuesday morning.

The coroner said the body had been there at least 5-days.

The coroner said a receipt inside the pickup showed Stephens got gas on May 30th.

The school said Stephens had just finished his sophomore year and was taking summer classes.  He had not yet declared a major.
