UPDATE: Barbourville Man Charged In Multiple Shoplifting Cases

Deputies said a man who was in jail in Laurel County on theft charges had also been tied to a shoplifting case in Richmond.

The sheriff’s office said that on Tuesday, Donald Mills, 37, Barbourville, had stolen a vacuum and a power washer from a Walmart store near Corbin.

Deputies said that Mills had also tried to steal merchandise from a Walmart store in London.

Mills was arrested and was being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Meanwhile, Richmond Police said Mills had also been charged in the theft of $8,000 worth of baby clothes.

Investigators said the clothes had been stolen last week from a Kroger store in Richmond.
