UPDATE: Arrest made in Perry County murder

HAZARD, Ky. (WTVQ) – An arrest was made Monday in connection to a shooting death in Perry County last week, according to State Police.

Investigators say 37-year old Harold Hayes, of Busy, was charged with murder and lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.

State Police say Hayes shot and killed 38-year old Terry Stidham, of Busy, who was found murdered in a pickup truck on Elm Shoal Branch in the Combs community August 8, 2018.

KSP says the investigation continues in the case.
