UPDATE: Arrest made in case of body found in Richmond creek

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)- An update to a story we brought you last week after a man’s body was found in Silver Creek in Madison County.

Sunday morning, troopers arrested 35-year-old Billy Chadwell of Richmond. Chadwell is charged with the murder of Francisco J. Martinez-Castillo.

Castillo’s body was found last Wednesday in the creek near Wilgreen Lake in Richmond. Troopers say castillo was last seen March 20th and was reported missing the 21st.

His death was ruled a homicide by detectives and the investigation is ongoing.
