University of Kentucky announces “State of the University”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — U of K President Eli Capilouto addressed the community of the University on Tuesday morning, announcing the new release of a new program called the “State of the University.”

President Capilouto says this program’s goal is to keep the community involved in how the University is moving forward in its goals – both as on-campus themes, and construction. He added that not only will ideals be shown – but the goals and metrics for which progress is being measured as well.

“This resource will be a repository for the major initiatives underway that will help move our campus forward: Campus transformation, diversity and inclusivity, campus safety and climate, student success at all levels, research, and quality health care”

The release is meant to show straightforward, timely updates, available to the public through the SOTU website or through their new “see blue” mobile app.
