Unity March in support of law enforcement to be held in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Unity March will be held Thursday, July 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Capitol steps in Frankfort.  The Frankfort City Commission unanimously sanctioned the march at their July 11 Work Session.  Anyone wishing to express their support for law enforcement is welcome to attend the march.

The march will begin at the intersection of Capital Avenue and Second Street and will proceed to the Capitol steps where speakers will address the participants.

Citizens wishing to attend the march are requested to park on top of the Capitol parking garage.  They will be transported by Frankfort Transit to the intersection of Capital Avenue and Second Street.  Once the event has ended, participants will return to their vehicles via sidewalks.
