Funeral arrangements for Captain Zachary Chase Clevenger

Montgomery County, Ky. (WTVQ) – Funeral arrangements are set for Fire Captain Zachary Chase Clevenger.

Clevenger, a Montgomery County firefighter died after battling a fire in Estill County Friday.

ABC 36 was told the 30-year-old firefighter returned home after the fire, but was found unresponsive later.

Clevenger served with Montgomery County Fire/ EMS for seven years. He was also a volunteer firefighter with the Estill County Fire Department.

His body will be escorted from Beattyville to Mount Sterling Wednesday afternoon. Visitation will take place at Living Water Church located at 200 Fogg Pike in Mount sterling from 5-9 p.m.

Clevenger’s funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that a donation be made in honor of Captain Clevenger to your local fire department.
