LPD: Man opens door, gets shot in leg
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they aren’t getting much help from the victim of a shooting in Lexington Tuesday night.
What the victim did tell police is he got into an argument over the phone with another person.
Not too long after hanging up with that person, at around 11 p.m., he says there was a knock at his door at his home on Alabama Avenue.
He says the man at the door asked for him by name, and when he opened it, the suspect shot him in the leg.
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening injury.
