Possible link to store robberies

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police want to know if four recent convenience store robberies are tied together.

Police say a man with a mask over his face went into the Marathon on North Martin Luther King Boulevard, with a handgun and demanded cash.

The clerk says another man stood outside while the robbery was happening then they both took off.

Police tell us they match the description of the suspects in two other robberies that happened last week – one at the Marathon on Newtown Pike and the other at the Thorntons on South Broadway

Police are also looking into the possibility the same suspects are involved in a robbery last month a Z Market One on Versailles Road.
