UK’s Donations for Citations begins Monday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The University of Kentucky is once again helping students and staff make their parking tickets disappear just in time for Halloween.

UK Transportation Services is launching its annual Donations for Citations program on Monday, running through October 31.

Anyone with a regular $30 parking citation can pay it off by donating ten nonperishable food items or five personal care items to help stock the Big Blue Pantry, which provides food and hygiene products to students facing food insecurity.

Donations can be dropped off at UK Transportation Services on Press Avenue, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Halloween.
