UK Women’s Basketball Team Wears Orange For A Good Cause
Members of the University of Kentucky women’s basketball team donned orange clothing Thursday but it was for a good a reason.
The team helped box up graham crackers at God’s Pantry in Lexington.
Coach Matthew Mitchell was there.
He even offered his critique of the packing job his players were doing.
"I would have to say Denetia Stallworth and Bernicia Pickett were outstanding at packing tonight," Mitchell said.
Orange is the color used to symbolize "Hunger Action Day."
