UK Sharing Ball at Historic Clip
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Some players have a knack for passing the basketball; others are just more brute force, lower the head and drive to the rack type guys.
You get a mixture of both at the elite caliber level.
Cal’s had both in Lexington.
This year though, the Cats are sharing at a higher rate than usual; and are not far off program record pace for most dimes in a season held by the 1995-96 team (783 assists in 36 games).
Kentucky ranks first in the SEC and 3rd in the country in assists per game right now…best in the conference and 5th in the nation in assist to turnover ratio.
Cal’s glad he has an unselfish team, but he didn’t really know the guys would be this good at moving the ball until he saw it in action.
Hear from Cal in the video.
