UK PD asking for volunteers in full-scale crisis drill
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The University of Kentucky Police Department is preparing for a full-scale crisis drill next month and is asking for volunteers to take part.
The drill is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, and will give officers and first responders the chance to train for a high-stress, realistic emergency scenario on campus.
Volunteers can assist as actors, setup crew, or food assistants and will serve from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Anyone interested in participating can sign up online at go.uky.edu/crisis-exercise by Friday, November 14.
